Join Our Volunteer Community!

Are you looking for a way to give back and help our local region thrive? The Big Bend Community Land Trust (BBCLT) is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help build and maintain our essential community projects.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have a variety of ways to get involved, whether you have a green thumb, enjoy organizing, or like working with your hands:

  • Community Garden: Help us with weeding and seasonal harvesting throughout the summer.

  • The Library: Support our local library’s operations and maintenance.

  • Thrift Store: Assist with cleaning and organizing community donations.

  • Property Maintenance: Help keep our land beautiful through weed whacking, brush clearing, and general cleanup.

  • New Projects: We are always open to new ideas! Current opportunities include building furniture for community use, developing composting systems, and creating play structures for children.

When to Visit

The Land Trust is open most Wednesdays and Saturdays.
