Bus Driver Under general supervision, operates school buses in the transportation of students over designated assignments and routes and on field trips; washes, sweeps, refuels and performs safety checks and inspections on assigned vehicles; and performs related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Bus Driver – operates a school bus over designated routes to transport school children and on special routes as required. Paid Classroom and Behind the Wheel Driving Training

Requirements / Qualifications

Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance. License and Certificate Requirements: – Possession of a valid Class A or B California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. – Possession of a California School Bus Driver’s Certificate with no restrictions. – Possession of a First Aid Certificate or Passage of the California Highway Patrol First Aid Test. – Possession of a valid CPR card. – Possession of a Medical Certificated (Form DL 51 and DL 51A).

Bus Driver Under general supervision, operates school buses in the transportation of students over designated assignments and routes and on field trips; washes, sweeps, refuels and performs safety checks and inspections on assigned vehicles; and performs related duties as assigned. A valid California Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement, a good driving record and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy. A valid Special School Bus Driver’s Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. Possession of a Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate. We will pay for your classroom and behind the wheel training to secure your class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement.
